Real good looking guy

Hi everyone and welcome to The Sport Of Ninja website. Three years ago I offered to pick up my younger cousin from a class he was taking at our local ninja gym. I met with members of the amazing ninja community, and instantly fell in love with the sport.

Right from the start, I had a passion for the amazing sport of ninja. I began taking adult classes twice a week. Within a few months I was given the opportunity to bump my training up to 4 nights a week alongside a dozen or so incredibly talented ninjas in their own right. Here I am 3 years later, a full time ninja coach myself.

Now I want to give back.

As great as my training was, I felt a need to push myself further. I’ve been through my fair share of purchased obstacles, DIY projects, and I’ve coached more kids ninja themed birthday parties than I can remember. This website is a culmination of all I have learned.

A Little Story About My Ninja Life

From a young age I loved climbing on things. Jungle gyms, furniture, trees – you name it. Even more so, I loved making a game out of it. Lava tag was the ultimate ninja kid game before ninja ever existed as a sport.

And I know that this was not unique to my childhood. Far from it. Countless children enjoy climbing, jumping, swinging on bars – and they should. Unfortunately for me, I wasn’t able to put that passion to use in a sport until I was in my early twenties. Luckily, that’s not the case for this generation of kids!

Not long ago, I was a division I wrestler at Sacred Heart University. I loved the sport. I always put everything I could into my training. As my coach would say, leave it all on the mat. By the end of my wrestling journey, I didn’t know what to do with myself. After 8 years of my life revolving around a sport I was truly in love with, I found myself resigned to life behind a desk. I took my degree in mathematics and got a job at the bank. It just felt like that was what I was expected to do; get a decent paying 9-5 job, and if I wanted to continue to workout or play a sport, it would have to be on my off time.

Then I discovered ninja. And now my life is so much more fun because I did.

Ninjas Are On the Rise

The sport of ninja is on the rise. Ninja gyms are popping up all over the place like you wouldn’t believe. Kids, teenagers, and adults alike are looking for their opportunity to compete. But with such a new sport, where does one begin?

That’s why this website exists. The ninja community has been so amazing to me, and now I want to help ninjas of all ages as they begin their journey into the sport of ninja. Whether you’re here to start your own training, to step your training up to the next level, to find a gift for a young ninja-in-training-, or just to plan a ninja themed birthday party, I want to help.

Advancing The Sport

I was adopted by this sport. That may sound like an odd choice of words, but it’s true. I’ve always been the kind of person to put 110% into everything I do, and when my collegiate wrestling career ended, I felt lost. The members of the ninja community have been nothing short of amazing since the first day I learned of the existence of a ninja gym. In this sport, I have found something to strive for and friends to live for.

That’s why the goal of this website is to advance the sport of ninja until it holds the recognition it deserves.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,
